YOUR PROFILE

• The experience range for this position is suitable for specialist/senior specialist and executive/manager (non-team management) roles
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferably in Industial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics
• 3-8 years of experience preferred working with modelling techniques and advanced applied skills such as significance testing, GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, using tools like Python, Spark, Scala, R.
• Conduct projects end-to-end from early stage research through development, in consultation with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in Python/R/Spark and SQL is a must
• Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis expressing data driven thinking skill
• Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• Research and development of deep learning products for mobile commerce and ad-tech
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with mobile commerce or self-service business models is a big plus

• Proven ability to relate and solve business problems through machine learning and statistics
• Experience applying various machine learning techniques and understanding the key parameters that affect their performance
• Experience diving into data to consider hidden patterns and conducting error analysis
• Having a curious mind and love to ask (and answer) impossible questions
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy and communicate findings to engineering and management teams as driving business impact
