Innovation is a multi-disciplinary team reporting directly to the CEO focused on research, development, and stewardship of what’s next for SentinelOne. The team today is engaged in a variety of projects such as ML Research, net-new product creation, M&A, and Investments as part of SentinelOne VC (+cool projects we can’t mention here).

We’re a small (<10) team of Individual Contributors who share a passion for making an impact. We’ve had a great time over the last few years helping craft new products, solving company-spanning difficult problems, doing novel research, and more.

It’s time for us to grow, and one of our key focus areas right now is to help fuel SentinelOne’s excellence in all things AI. There are multiple new and exciting ML projects that we’re working on and we’re looking for a talented IC to join our team, help us make them a reality, and push Innovation at SentinelOne.

The Role

As an Innovation team member, you will have a key role in shaping products, features, and technology at SentinelOne at the highest level. The team is working closely with the executive team, company-wide leadership (with a focus on Product, R&D, and CorpDev), and technical leadership, architects, and ICs across the company.

As an ML Specialist in the team, You will create, lead, prototype, orchestrate, and build diverse projects (NLP, Anomaly Detection, Forecasting, Clustering, Categorization, @ 100b-10t events scale) from A-Z. You will also have key involvement in planning and defining the necessary infrastructure for delivering these projects at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate models
• Guide the team’s work regarding data pipeline needs and necessary infrastructure
• Work with engineers and researchers across the organization to ensure the models work in production and are well maintained. 
• Cooperate with other team members on various projects that may require your expertise

About you

• Highly motivated, interested in a mix of leading, collaborating, and IC work. Able to work in a fast-paced and often changing environment

• Significant experience designing and implementing machine learning models. Bringing models to production at scale is an advantage.
• Software engineering experience will be an advantage
• Cybersecurity background will be an advantage
