Job Description

The Business Process Team within the Water and Protection business is looking for a Business Process Specialist / Product Master Data Steward. The candidate should have a passion for master data and is eager to work in a dynamic environment while taking ownership and accountability for the job. In this position, the individual will also work closely with other teams and together constantly looking to improve the quality of the data.

Main activities may include:

• Coordinating, collecting, checking and managing product master data, mainly in the NA regions while ensuring the highest data quality;
• Main part of the daily job consists of working/follow-up with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Production, Finance…) to gather required information to execute master data needs;
• Maintaining global standards, guidelines and processes and share with the cross-functional teams;
• Carrying out training for users across the organisation in the regions;
• Consistently address, investigate and solve recurring strategic enterprise master data issues;
• Participate in process improvement related projects by providing analysis and input;
• Working closely with the other teams within the Business Process Team (SAP Support team, Pricing Team, …).

Main requirements:

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or Proven Equivalent Experience for identified position requirements;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with SAP;
• SharePoint experience is a plus;
• In depth knowledge of the MS-office package, especially understanding of Excel programming (macro, visual basic) is an asset;
• You are a punctual and accurate person with above average analytical skills. You can build meaningful metrics and are easily able to interpret metrics.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that you use to build strong, meaningful long-lasting relationships.
