We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion for bringing development, security and operations together in order to build more robust security systems. Someone with a strong focus to help with DevSecOps security initiatives, as well as teaching security best practices to our employees.

This is a position where you will be directly working with our DevOps team on various security-related tasks. You will be in charge of onboarding security tools to our CI/CD pipelines, optimizing the security posture of our kubernetes clusters, improving the security of our cloud resources, data and our networks, as well as helping our developers learn more about secure coding. You will also play an active role in teaching the company our security policies and working towards transferring the responsibility for security into the hands of our various system owners.

Requirements:

• Computer Science degree or relevant experience
• Highly organized with experience in Scrum, Agile, and engineering methodologies
• Ability to prioritize and communicate with your team and peers
• Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator
• Cloud architecture experience, with the ability of securing microservices architecture
• Previous experience in securing Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Previous experience deploying security tools on CI/CD platforms: jenkins, circle-ci, concourse, github, bitrise, etc
• Previous experience with infrastructure as code: terraform, cloudformation, chef, puppet, ansible, etc
• Working knowledge of networking concepts: tcp/ip, common protocols, OSI model, etc
• Genuine interest in and curiosity in cryptocurrency and FinTech

Nice to have:

• Experience in at least one of the following: python, shell scripting, go, java, or another programming language
• Experience working in Finance, Fintech, or Product Development
• Experience with PCI DSS compliance
• Familiar with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra
• Knowledge of various security frameworks and standards: NIST, ISO, CIS, OWASP, etc
• Any security-related certifications: CISSP, Security+, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, etc
