We are looking for a Data Operations Engineer to join our growing team.

  • Responsible for the design, development, and performance tuning of an intelligent data platform, which automates the observability of our software and infrastructure, getting data in context and enabling our engineer teams to solve problems in a timely manner with intelligent actions.
  • Identify and resolve vulnerabilities and software/infrastructure issues, to improve the availability and performance, especially when handling huge volumes of requests.
  • Plan and implement new capabilities, testing, disaster recovery exercises, and so on, from which potential needs and optimization points can be identified to continuously optimize the platform.

Requirements

  • Computer Science degree or relevant experience
  • Strong programming background, master in Java or other object oriented languages
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Experience of working with cloud technologies such as AWS
  • Experience of APM/RUM tools such as DataDog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, etc.
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills, to troubleshoot and implement new monitoring tools and capabilities end-to-end

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Micrometer or a similar tool
  • Familiar with container technologies such as docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiar with both SQL DB and NoSQL such as MySQL and Cassandra
  • Experience of working within an Agile framework
  • Experience of cryptocurrency industry or a similar field
