Your Role: Data Science Lead

In this leadership role, you'll guide advisory engagements for high-growth clients, working alongside a dynamic team of data scientists, architects, developers, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end client engagements—from sales and problem definition to solution delivery and model maintenance.
• Oversee model selection, statistical model development, data pipelines (ETL), and quality assurance for advanced analytics solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
• Support and lead proposal development and new business pitches.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets in both ad hoc and structured projects.

About the Team

Deloitte’s Artificial Intelligence practice combines deep expertise with cutting-edge assets to guide clients through transformative AI journeys. Our goal: deliver measurable business outcomes using AI-powered innovation.

About You

We’re looking for a candidate with:

• Strong data analysis skills using Python.
• Experience with Cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or similar tools.
• 5+ years of experience applying analytics or working with data.
• Proven leadership/project management experience in data-driven environments.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, NoSQL, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with machine learning, optimization, forecasting, and NLP.
• Strong business acumen and ability to navigate ambiguity with creative problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Professional services/consulting experience is a plus.
• An advanced degree (MSc or higher) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Total Rewards

• Salary range: $84,000 – $175,000, plus eligibility for performance bonuses.
