The Technical Project Manager will work with the Data Science and Analytics team within the Global Logistics and Global Logistics and Integrated Business Planning (GL&IBP) organization. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) analytical products to support decision-making in key business processes for the Enterprise such as Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP).

The candidate will lead the planning, execution and delivery of various projects related to the development and deployment of new data products, the improvement and refactoring of existing products, the implementation of the data management strategy, etc.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil , and is exclusively on-site.

What will your daily life look like?

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to create and maintain processes, models and documentation for data science projects
  • Work with product managers to understand the roadmap for each data product and define the minimum viable product (MVP) and project plan
  • Break down MVPs and projects into backlogs and tasks
  • Maintaining Project Plans in Azure DevOps
  • Establish milestones and track project progress
  • Identify problems, obstacles and challenges and develop a risk management methodology to address them
  • Lead Scrum and Sprint meetings
  • Guide the development team through the development, deployment and change management processes
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze end-user feedback and provide insights to improve data products
  • Document and track all Product corrections
  • Respond to emails, requests and inquiries within a reasonable time

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Training in data science, industrial engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience in Agile project management
  • Experience in implementing and delivering business intelligence and data science solutions to clients and internal users
  • Experience with Data Science tools (Python, Databricks, Spark) and the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (SQL Server, Stored Procedures, SSIS, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and self-motivation to work on complex data science projects

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may come from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with clients, suppliers or international colleagues.
