Summer Data Science Internship (Graduate – For Academic Credit Only)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) | Optional: In-person in Boston, MA
Duration: 10–12 weeks (Summer 2025)
Commitment: ~20 hours/week (flexible with academic schedules)

About the Internship

We are offering a Summer 2025 Data Science Internship for graduate students seeking academic credit. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world cybersecurity data science projects while earning credit toward your degree.

As an intern, you’ll work alongside our Data Science team on key initiatives involving data collection, processing, model evaluation, and reporting. You’ll gain exposure to the full data science lifecycle and the tools, practices, and challenges shaping cybersecurity analytics today.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data gathering, processing, and quality assurance efforts
• Assist in model evaluation and performance tracking
• Contribute to metrics development, analysis, and dashboard reporting
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative discussions
• Observe best practices in both data science and cybersecurity domains

Who You Are

Academic Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant graduate program at an accredited U.S. university
• Eligible to receive academic credit for this internship

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with SQL for querying and data aggregation
• Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and scripting
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and evaluation metrics
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication for documentation and reporting
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented approach to coding and documentation
