AI is a top priority at Tinder, and our Generative AI team is at the forefront of developing features powered by cutting-edge technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models. This is a rare opportunity to work on groundbreaking AI-driven products at a company with a global reach, all while being part of a small, agile team where your contributions are felt every day.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct applied research of Generative AI, and develop product prototypes. Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI.
• Develop Generative AI based features in production.
• Work with big data (handling billions of user swipes per day).
• Collaborate with other machine learning engineers, backend software engineers, and product managers to integrate ML models into our systems, improving user experience and driving business objectives.

You will need:

• PhD in machine learning, computer science, statistics, or another highly quantitative field.
• In-depth research and experiences on LLM and multimodal Generative AI models.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or similar programming languages.

$ 135000- $165000 a year

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Palo Alto, CA. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
