Hinge is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and expand our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Platform team. This team is the backbone of our AI and Machine Learning (ML) operations, providing the essential infrastructure and tools that empower our Data Scientists and ML Engineers to efficiently build, test, and deploy models. In doing so, you'll make a meaningful difference in Hinge users' lives by driving the technology that brings them together.
As the Director of AI Platform, you'll drive strategic initiatives while also contributing as a hands-on engineer, ensuring practical and scalable solutions. The AI Platform team is set to grow to a total of five ML Platform Engineers by the end of 2024, and this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Hinge's ML and AI landscape.

$ 270000- $324000 a year
Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
