About the Internship opportunity:

We’re excited to be offering Geospatial and GIS Summer Internships.

These roles sit within Jacobs Technology Services, a team of geospatial, survey and reality capture and visual media experts who are driving digital change for Jacobs and our clients. The team includes over 100 geospatial professionals in Europe, based around hubs in Ireland, the UK and Poland. 

As a Summer Intern, you will work alongside members of a friendly team of established geospatial professionals on a range of data capture, management, analysis, and digital delivery solutions.  With exposure to an expanding range of market sectors and an extensive knowledge pool, you will have the opportunity to deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to varied internal and external clients by thinking both logically and creatively.

A mentor will support your learning and facilitate opportunities to network across Jacobs, allowing you to gain as much out of the experience as possible.

Here's what you'll need

• On track to complete a degree in Geography, GIS, Data Science and Data Management.
• A flexible and innovative self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills.
• Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems.
• Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements.
• A well-rounded individual – have you worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us - we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences!
• You must be available to join the 8-week programme starting 30th June 2025 – 22nd August 2025.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• You need to be a penultimate year student, finishing your degree in 2026.
