Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a full-time Data Science Trainee to assist with data preparation and building predictive models. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in analyzing data, building models, and solving business problems using machine learning techniques. Strong communication skills are essential as you will regularly present your findings to team members and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Assist in preparing, cleaning, and structuring data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and identify key variables.
• Support the development and validation of models that drive business outcomes using various statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Document workflows and assist in building data pipelines that ensure efficient model development and deployment.
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders, helping them make data-driven decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of data modeling and problem-solving for business contexts.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).
• Excellent communication skill to articulate insights and complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A willingness to learn and apply new techniques to different business challenges.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with building and optimizing machine learning models.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) for model deployment and data management.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
