We are seeking aspirational candidates interested in a career in Data Architecture to join OFSAA Data Management Applications suite. This role requires ability to lead the development and execution of OFSAA data management product strategy. The candidate will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from ideation to iterating on requirements, for partnering with agile-based development teams, for collaborating with cross-functional teams at Oracle, and for working closely with external partners and customers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, data-driven, and has a strong understanding of market trends for OFSAA products and has good appreciation for needs of OFSAA customers.

As a Principal Data Architect, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and triaging complex business issues and solutions in data management products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Documenting requirements for various subject areas in Risk, Finance and Compliance domains of BFSI industry,
  • Working on product scope, and release definition, release planning,
  • Conducting sales and customer demonstrations,
  • Collaborating with pre-sales for activities, such as, POC’s, collateral writing, and proposal reviews,
  • Reviewing technical design documents,
  • Reviewing QA validation scenarios,
  • Championing governance for entire OFSAA ecosystem.

Your Qualifications

  • Must have B.S or equivalent degree.
  • Must have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have rich experience working with of Data warehouses, Data Marts, and/or Data lakes.
  • Must have strong knowledge of database fundamentals especially in cloud context.
  • Hands-on data modeling and design experience is desired.
  • BFSI experience is desired.
  • Must have experience in Data Integration and various technology stack related to implementation of large data warehouses, data marts, and/or data lakes.
  • Experience in Data Governance is a plus.
  • Must have practical knowledge of enterprise data architecture, e.g., domain driven design, micro-services, enterprise data integration patterns.
  • Good knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and practical uses in data management is a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
