Then apply for an Electrical Engineering internship in Gillette’s Process & Engineering (P&E) department at P&G based in our Reading Innovation Centre.

What To Expect:

We offer 3 to 6 months internship placements either as an Electrical Engineer or Data Analyst. During your internship, you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in P&E with P&G involves, and if it is right for you.

You will be working on live business projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead. Previous Electrical Engineer internship projects have covered topics such as Robot pick-and-place calibration, Human Machine Interface & Programmable Logic Controller coding. Previous Data Analytics internships have encompassed subjects like equipment asset tracking via Power BI and capability training via PowerApps.

This internship is available in our Innovation Centre in Reading.

Job Qualifications

What We Look For:

• University students graduating in 2026 and pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Evidence of passion and achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities. Tell us what you’re proud of – be it playing a musical instrument or holding down a job alongside your studies. We want to get to know you during your application and encourage you to include examples that demonstrate our Peak Performance Behaviours including what actions you took and the results you achieved in your CV.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a desire to challenge the established way of doing things through continual improvement and innovation, delighting our consumers.

• Strong interest in investigating and implementing new technologies and processes to step change our products and equipment.

• Strong verbal and written English language skills.

Right to Work:

For our internship roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your internship without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 1st April 2025 to 30th September 2025 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week for a 6 month placement or 1st July 2025 to 30th September 2025 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week for a 3 month placement

Start date:

The internship's duration is flexible between 3-6 months, with a start date between April and July 2025.
