You’ll need to have:

• Ability to participate in our 6-month co-op that takes place from January 13, 2025 to July 11, 2025 working a full-time schedule.

• Current enrollment in a University of Central Florida Bachelor’s degree program in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related major with an expected completion date between December 2025 and June 2026.

• Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (ex: Python, Java, React, NodeJS, NextJS, Javascript/Typescript).

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.

• Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

• Knowledge of mobile development (e.g., Android, IOS).

• Knowledge of service Application Programming Interface (API) Integration (e.g., Microservices, Restful APIs, Web Services).

• Knowledge of Web Development (e.g., Frameworks, browsers, and embedded applications).

• Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) automation tools and/or Secure SW development cycle.

Where you’ll be working

• In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
