As the Associate Director – Customer Identity & Access Management – US Consumer, you will play a pivotal role in this transformation. You will lead our customer identity product, ensuring alignment with compliance and business goals.

This role will set the business context, drive the strategic vision for customer identity, and align priorities to harmonize golden customer identity and personalization with compliance expectations and controls for the US Consumer Team.

This role works closely with multi-functional teams to match risk to tolerance and ensure ongoing effectiveness of key technical and administrative identity controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of customer identity services including user registration, authentication, authorization, governance, and identity data linking to achieve a 360-degree customer view across data, marketing and advertising platforms
  • Relentlessly pursue more personalized and relevant brand experiences for customers based on digital identity data to predict and drive customer engagement while ensuring controls are operating effectively
  • Coordinate and lead golden customer identity including the identity graph and key structure across identity keys to ensure accurate, secure, compliant, and unified customer identity management across the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem
  • Implement customer identity solutions to improve user experience, securely collect, organize, and centrally run user identities and profile data with seamless access control mechanisms, advanced authentication methods, dynamic profiling, and consolidated identities
  • Work closely with software engineering, security, and infrastructure teams and coordinate management of customer identities and integration of Okta with customer-facing sites/applications, ensuring seamless SSO, MFA and API security
  • Collaborate with the Privacy and Cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions align with security policies and regulatory requirements to protect customer identities and data
  • Develop customer identity product roadmap aligned with permission/consent and privacy requirements
  • Ensure ongoing delivery of fit-for-purpose, secure, scalable identity platform integrations in an Agile SAFe framework focusing on the consolidation of various identity stores and IDP technologies, driving integration and simplification of a diverse customer identity ecosystem
  • Drive OCM and adoption of golden customer identity and key management
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies associated with identity, digital authentication, and omni-channel solutions

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM-related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics)
  • 4+ years of experience preferably architecting CIAM, preference/consent and privacy solutions within Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, industry standard processes, and control frameworks for identity, data privacy, data security, and data governance, (e.g., NIST 800-63 Digital Identity Guidelines, 800-53 r5, CSF 2.0, Privacy Framework, NISTIR 8053, ISO 27559, etc.)
  • Superb communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaborator able to build and maintain strong relationships with agile teams and internal/external collaborators
  • High intellectual curiosity with a passion for data privacy and security
  • Hands-on experience with CIAM solutions, protocols, and integrations (e.g., user management, self-service, registration, delegated administration, identity proofing, SSO, SPML, Federation, SAML, SCIM, XACML, OpenID, OAuth, Auth0, MFA, integration APIs/SDKs, SOA services, identity governance, security analytics, and social identity integration)
  • Knowledge of customer identity lifecycle management and CIAM standard methodologies
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, device manufacturer or health industry
  • IT-control related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPT)
  • Familiarity with Agile development, CI/CD, and automation platforms
  • Ability to analyze complex data domains and develop practical solutions
