Job Description

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team is responsible for the company’s enterprise risk management program that enables T-Mobile to understand, consider, lead, and disclose to investors the risks that can have a material effect on a company’s financial condition and results of operations.

ERM works with all levels of the enterprise, including the Board of Directors, Board Committees, and Officers & Executives across all organizations in the company. ERM also works closely with other governance functions, including those within Legal, Privacy, Information Security, Compliance, Finance, and Technology, to determine impacts associated with various risks along with associated mitigating activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting industry research and participating in preparing risk briefs on current and emerging enterprise risks.
  • Supporting enterprise risk assessment activities, including executive interview preparation and support and executive communication and reporting.
  • Contributing to risk assessments by being knowledgeable about professional standards and risk frameworks.
  • Participating in and supporting the Company's risk management activities, including partnering with similar teams and ensuring the alignment of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities between teams.
  • Communicating effectively in writing and in-person with business partners and executives via email, reports, interviews, presentations, etc.
  • Utilizing technology and tools to support and improve ERM team processes, project management, and reporting.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Accounting (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years Professional experience in a large corporate environment. Capability to synthesize and summarize sometimes unfamiliar data into analyses and reports is required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in risk management or compliance field and/or technology/communications industry preferred.
  • Experience with analytical, collaboration, and reporting tools to innovate on internal process' preferred. (AI, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Work independently while representing the department with the highest level of integrity.
  • Self-starter who is customer focused, internally motivated, intellectually curious, and self-confident.
  • Works well and builds trust within the team and cross-functionally across the company.
  • Able to establish and maintain positive relationships across the enterprise.

Base Pay Range: $58,900 - $106,300

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
