Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and simulate Consumer Origination or Portfolio credit risk decision strategies, using segmentation and optimization techniques, trend and regression analysis, financial analysis, and forecasting techniques. Lead the development of specific segments or entire credit strategies, as assigned.
  • Perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of Consumer credit data leading to the generation of business cases, the development of new strategies, and what-if analyses of existing strategies.
  • Analyze, independently, Consumer credit bureau and alternative Consumer credit data, resolving assignments with specific data-driven responses and incremental insights (going above and beyond the assignment).
  • Extract, load and transform credit risk data from multiple sources and complex formats, performing as a data leader and expert.
  • Outstanding time management skills and project management fundamentals (schedule and resourcing)
  • Mentor and train new team resources from a technical and domain point of expertise

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Credit or Collections risk management experience, preferably with a credit card or personal loan issuer required.
  • 2+ years of quantitative analytic modeling, data science or comparable credit process management experience required.
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related degree required
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related degree preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL, C++, SAS, Python, R, or other statistical software packages required.
  • Superior communication (spoken and written), organization and presentation skills required.
  • Superior time management skills and awareness of project management methods required.
  • Wireless/Telecom experience preferred.
  • Strong financial service and credit regulatory understanding and awareness preferred.
  • Experience with credit risk decision engine software and platform solutions preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
