Job Description

About the Role: 

  • As an Analyst you will undertake tasks to support the delivery of a range of Sustainability Reporting services
  • Support the delivery of best practice client environmental performance reports (e.g. carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste generation and recycling performance) to support our client’s legal and voluntary reporting obligations.
  • Source and update all reporting system energy usage, sustainability and cost data, including rates and tariffs on a timely basis, including from 3rd parties.
  • Validation and correction of sustainability data (via exception reports).
  • Provide analytical support to the Sustainability Team as required.
  • Maintain all key administrative documentation.
  • Work as an integrated, informed, effective and positive member of our team in relation to but not limited to safety, culture, administrative policies and procedures, systems of work; delivery, knowledge building, learning and development.
  • Performing of an Operational / Service Delivery role on an account or in a functional area;
  • Responsible for carrying out the plan from the leadership team and client at the operational level;
  • Provision of effective and high-quality delivery of services to clients.

About You:

  • Proven analytical and data processing skills.
  • An eye for detail and comfort with working with large datasets.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management skills to prioritise tasks and ensure projects are completed in line with the project plan.
  • Problem solving skills, to be able to identify and provide solutions.
  • Works independently, uses initiative and exercises sound judgment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian sustainability disclosures, including NGERS, and understanding of the Greenhouse Gas Protocols is desirable.

Qualifications and technical skills:

  • Graduate qualifications in environmental science, data science, analytics or related discipline.
  • Excellent proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Power BI tool is desirable
