What's the opportunity?

Intercom has announced a $100million investment in AI, and we have ambitious plans to scale our AI team over the next twelve months.We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiting Manager to join our talent acquisition team and partner closely with our AI Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing hiring strategies to attract top machine learning talent and support Intercom's ambitious AI initiatives.

What will I be doing?

• Partner with AI leadership group to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies
• Manage a team of recruiters to source, engage, and evaluate machine learning candidates across various specializations
• Manage full-cycle recruitment process for ML roles, from job posting to offer negotiation
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of ML talent through proactive sourcing and networking
• Stay current on ML industry trends, talent markets, and competitive landscapes
• Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation trends, and candidate motivations
• Collaborate with employer branding team to showcase Intercom's ML work and team culture
• Develop and refine interview processes to effectively assess ML candidates
• Track key recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders

What skills do I need?

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a focus on machine learning or AI roles
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, roles, and talent landscape
• Proven track record of successfully hiring ML talent in a competitive market
• Strong network within the ML community and ability to engage passive candidates
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience partnering with senior technical leaders and translating hiring needs
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical concepts
• Data-driven approach to recruiting strategy and decision-making
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
