Your Role

This is a fast-paced role with extensive growth potential for a world-class ML engineer to tackle our hardest ML challenges in a startup environment. You will be on the core ML team and work closely with our leadership, partners, and customers to build tools used by people to automate recruiting. For this role, we are looking for individuals with broad and deep ML knowledge and has industry experience building ML systems that have shipped to production. On any given day, you may be working on end to end delivery of new ML features alongside product and full-stack engineering, refactoring our current ML tooling layer to support new product needs, or curating eval sets.

We believe in drawing from wisdom from ML research and industry through keeping up with papers and the latest frameworks. While we are product-focused, we believe in grounding ML feature development with evals and feedback loops, and allocating time to experiment with new techniques.

What You’ll Do

• Tackle our hardest ML product challenges at the crux of unlocking truly agentic flows in recruiting, from prototyping and experimentation with LLMs and self-hosted models alike to incorporating and maintaining them in existing and new ML systems.
• Help shape our technical MLOps stack to meet our ML and product needs.
• Write production ready code with speed, cost, and usability in mind.
• Stay close to the ground and hands on keyboard. No task is too small, whether it’s fixing unit tests or curating datasets.

Skills & Qualifications

• A Masters in ML (or equivalent domain experience) and 4+ years of work experience building ML systems directly powering customer experiences, or equivalent ML experience.
• Extensive experience building complex machine learning systems and have driven execution from ideation to production implementation
• You can take a high-level goal and achieve a shippable solution. You are able to draw from a toolkit of methods, and know when to prompt engineer with black box LLMs and when to finetune a custom model.
• Strong product sense. You are passionate about applications that are driven by user feedback and end user experiences.

US Applicants

• The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $120,000 to $200,000 in the US;
• This position is eligible for significant equity
