Job Description

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Machine Learning Platform Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Working on our next gen platform with an emphasis on reliability, transparency, observability of the system, and Interoperability across on-prem and multi-cloud infrastructure
• Collaborating with our Researchers and HPC infrastructure team to solve problems in a scalable manner
• Taking a lead in identifying efficiency and throughput optimizations
• Enhancing the platform to handle ever-increasing data volumes and incorporate cutting-edge machine learning techniques
• Working in a fast-paced, close-knit and dynamic environment, implementing fixes / features at short notice when needed

Qualifications

• At least 4-5 years of experience designing large distributed systems, with passion for performance and high availability at scale
• Experience developing in Python
• Experience with managing applications on linux HPC clusters and/or cloud platforms
• Knowledge of GPUs, related technologies and/or machine learning frameworks is a strong plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Motivated to learn new technologies and able to work independently

Anticipated New York annual base salary range $150,000 - $220,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
