Role overview

As the Founding Engineer, you will be at the helm of the technology arm of Assembli. This will include shaping the technical vision for the business, architecting scalable infrastructure, and supporting a growing team. Assembli is an early stage business, so the Founding engineer will need to be capable of both long-term strategic thinking, and hands-on software development. This role is ideally suited to engineers interested in building an AI company from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning, computer vision, and multimodal models
• Designing and managing a technical product roadmap, including low level specifications of an initial Minimum Viable Product, and continuous iterations
• Ensuring reliability and efficiency of product deployments

Qualifications

• At least 2-7 years of experience in ML/Computer vision based engineering roles
• Experience deploying models in a production setting
• Experience developing products from the ground up and have a deep understanding of AI technologies
• Familiarity with the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry preferred but not required
• Strong programming skills in Python

Anticipated annual base salary range of $100,000 - $160,000, additional compensation in the form of equity in the business.
