Job Description

What Success Will Look Like:

• Design, implement (in Rust), and maintain a self-developed data computing engine/platform.
• Lead the system design with team and be responsible for the implementation of core modules.
• Continuously learning, optimizing, and improving existing systems, collaborating with colleagues from different regions (US, India, and China) to achieve goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to and promote good software engineering practices, fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
• Help the team solve technical challenges encountered and lead Senior and Junior engineers to grow together.

Who You Are & What You've Done:

• A minimum of 8 years of industry experience in software development, demonstrating a strong foundation in building robust and scalable applications.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Hadoop/Hive, or similar technologies, showcasing your ability to work with large datasets and complex data processing pipelines.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical groups/teams, including participating in the design and decision-making of core systems, addressing key issues and obstacles faced by the team, and successfully delivering systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Scala, Java, Python, or a similar language, allowing you to effectively implement and optimize applications.
• Comfort with ambiguity and an adaptable mindset, enabling you to tackle challenging problems and find innovative solutions in a dynamic and evolving industry.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, where you can prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, allowing you to mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
• Proficient use of Rust is a plus.
