We are currently seeking a creative individual to join our Data Science team in Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence (SMAI) group in Micron Technology. The SMAI team supports company-wide AI solutions enablement from the intelligent manufacturing to optimized the business operation. This team works in Micron Taichung site, but collaborates with worldwide users and developers closely and frequently. This team builds end-to-end solutions for helping the Assembly & Test (A&T) operations globally. The scopes cover from advanced package technology development, smart planning and execution, equipment and process control to product quality assurance. The delivered solutions impact the business includes that discover yield improvement opportunities quickly, mitigate manufacturing risks actively, improve the process optimization efficiently, and handle the quality deviation management easily.
As a YMS Data Science Engineer at Micron, you will apply data science techniques and theories to provide actionable insights from manufacturing data. The posted position would focus on the in-house development Yield Management System (YMS) support. The required works include understanding business requirements, exploring the relative datasets, and conducting useful analyses. The end-goal is to explore any process optimization opportunities from yield analyses, then to partner with YMS developers on enabling new general functions. Team member would learn domain knowledges while understanding the business problems. They would speed-up the yield ramp up progress while providing new analyses or enabling new features. We're seeking for any talent who is passionate about solving the industry problems from data insights and has strong motivation of growing a career as a AI solution provider.
