Mid/Senior Level Knowledge Engineer

As a Knowledge Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, refining, and implementing expansive domain ontologies for the DOD/IC.
• Applying Artificial Intelligence capabilities to classify data and deliver insights.
• Designing and implementing Semantic Technologies for intelligence integration.
• Utilizing advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
• Advising on user applications and graph database design and implementations.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, or a field applicable to the position required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 9+ years of related work experience

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph.
• Expertise with Ontology tools, Graph Databases, and other Semantic Technologies.
• Proficiency with RDF, OWL, JSON, XML, or similar languages.
• Ability to work with a team to establish requirements and milestones for projects.
• Capability to work closely with Senior Government Leadership and Stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations and Courses of Action (COAs).
• Experience in a fast-paced, high visibility environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Subject Matter Expertise designing domain-based ontologies for the DOD/IC.
• Significant experience utilizing Machine Learning methods and tools.
• Proficiency in Python and Jupyter Notebooks.

Telework/Remote Availability:

• Available for part-time remote work.

Work Location:

• Washington DC; Reston, VA.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$175,000 - $195,000
