Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Software Developer to join our AI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and pipelines, as well as integrating various tools and platforms to streamline our MLOps and DevOps processes. This role requires in-depth knowledge of AWS services, Terraform, Brinqa integration, Jenkins builds, and code deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

MLOps and DevOps:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Implement and manage MLOps practices to streamline the development and deployment of machine learning models.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Work with DevOps to define requirements for internal Terraform modules

Code Deployment:

• Manage and execute code deployments across different environments.
• Ensure robust and efficient deployment processes to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.

AWS Services:

• Utilize AWS services including S3, API Gateway, Lambda, and others to build and maintain scalable and secure machine learning applications.
• Monitor and manage AWS resources to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

Security Integration:

• Integrate Brinqa, Vercode, Sonarcube and others with various tools and platforms to enhance the security and compliance of our machine learning pipelines.
• Ensure seamless data flow and interaction between security tools and other systems.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with data scientists, software developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on machine learning and DevOps.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with AWS services (SageMaker, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Security scanning tools and security practices.
• Solid understanding of MLOps and DevOps principles.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
