
Job Description
- Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for our consumer panel services (CPS) and related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable and robust technology solutions for Customer Input Management that include Omni Shopper Input Management (OSIM), Super Omni Shopper (SOS), EU Panel Expansion, and output modeling and analytics platform Panel OnDemand (POD), Data Processing, Trip Calibration, Consumer and Shopper Explorer, and Discover Panel Integration.
- Manage and optimize the technology stack to complete cloud transformation, delivering business value with high margin.
- Drive innovation and efficiency through the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices, oversee the implementation of Panel solutions leveraging advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities.
- Manage delivery timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, driving innovation to maximize the business value on margin expansion and revenue growth initiatives.
- Performance Optimization: monitor and optimize CPS systems for efficiency, accuracy, and security, implementing incident response measures as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including Product Leadership, Operations, Data Science, EIT, and Architecture, be a trusted technology partner in both delivery and thought leadership.
- Be the Engineering Relationship Manager facing off clients such as Product, Operations, Customer Services, etc. and representing their needs across Global Engineering organization.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards, safeguard panelist data, proactively mitigating risks related to security and data privacy.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the technology team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment conducive to innovation, growth, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building and managing consumer panel systems (CPS) and related initiatives, with expertise in data management, processing, and analytics.
- Strong leadership and product development skills with experience leading teams and driving measurable outcomes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, C++
- Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, ML (Machine Learning) Studio.
- Experience collaborating with 3rd party data providers and in-depth knowledge of Consumer sourced data.
- Deep understanding of data management, sampling, modelling, harmonization, with experience in consumer data and behavior.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, MLOps, and best practices in technology development and operations.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements, with experience implementing security measures and protocols in data-intensive environments.
- Strong mathematical and statistical background to understand Data Science Models.
- Proficiency in NIQ data: item and store reference data, sales data, survey data, etc.
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master's in computer science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in Data & Software Engineering and architecture/design.
- Strong experience with distributed computing and cloud platforms
- Experience in driving SAFe Agile and DevSecOps engineering practices adoption.
- Proven record of accomplishment and successful collaboration with functional teams including Operations, Data Science, and Product Management.
- Experience in training and upskilling engineers in innovative technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
