                                    What You’ll Be Doing
The candidate for this Business & Technical Integrator role will be part of the Iberia Tech at Lilly Team. This Business & technical Integrator position supports the business functions by ensuring reliable delivery of Information Technology capabilities for the Iberia Hub (Spain and Portugal). This role involves close partnership with business teams in affiliate.
The function of the team is primarily internal account management and value delivery, driving transformation through Digital Technology. Success requires that the Business & Technical Integrator be knowledgeable about business strategy, priorities and processes and is able to leverage Information Technology and Digital Solutions to meet those business needs or address any issues. This role requires a multi-faceted perspective of business understanding and technology delivery to drive and support the transformation of our commercial model with the use of technology.
- Obtain and leverage knowledge of Lilly business priorities and processes, coupled with strong account management skills, for strategic credibility with business partners.
- Contribute to the implementation of Artificial Intelligence tools and capabilities across the organization.
- Support the ongoing transformation journey, sustained in 4 pillars: Data & Analytics, AI, Simplification & Automation, and workforce upskilling.
- Promote re-use and replication of solutions through the Identification of applications and solutions.
- Foster the adoption of the implemented Tech at Lilly solutions, in partnership with the business functions, with special focus on commercial area.
- Monitor OCM (Organizational Change Management) at the local level; ensuring that Business partners are ‘people ready’ to achieve maximum value from IT investments.
- Lead project for the Hub demonstrating influence across areas.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and IT capabilities, fostering an environment of mutual understanding and support.
- Maintain a keen awareness of the latest IT trends and technologies, integrating this knowledge into our strategic planning.
- Maintain a productive relationship with the regional/global teams as appropriate to be able to support the Iberia Hub priorities.
- Follow Industry and corporate best practices to support and ensure compliance in our local systems, processes, and behaviors according to Lilly’s Information security standards to protect our assets and data as required.
- Some minimal travel required (<10%)
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field (computer, electronics, data and analytics, etc).
- At least 3 years work experience.
- Fluent oral and written English (level C1 or equivalent)
- Curiosity and Learning Agility.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Legally entitled to work in Spain or Portugal.
Preferential Requirements
- A master’s degree in a technology area or an MBA will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical business and/or sales & marketing business technology
- Ability to excel and preference for cross cultural and cross functional collaboration and diversity.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and be able to influence across different teams.
- Understanding of compliance obligations related to information technology.
- Account management skills, including interpersonal skills, research, communications (esp. listening), influence without authority, ability to deal with ambiguity and to have crucial conversations.
- Understanding of process optimization/automation and User Experience (UX) principles.
- Knowledge (firsthand practical experience or certification preferred) in one or many of the following:
- Project Management (e.g., Agile)
- IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL)
- Apple iOS / iPadOS
- Data & Analytics technologies (e.g Power BI, Tableau, Knime)
- Automation Technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform)
- Veeva / SFDC
- Microsoft 365

- The role must be located within Iberia hub (Spain or Portugal)
- Work must be conducted in alignment with Lilly@work Iberia Hub framework
- Some travel (<10%) will be required
