Job Description

We are looking for a Computational Linguist to help develop, maintain and refine instructions and labeled data for our language processing models, through automated and manual methods. At Infinitus, we encourage engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, closely interact with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.

Infinitus is a start up automating routine tedious administrative work for healthcare workers. Tens of millions of Americans are under medical debt and over half of healthcare workers are concerned about burnout. We are working to bring down costs, get patients to care faster and free up healthcare workers to focus on patients.

At Infinitus you will:

• Assist in improving our conversational AI system
• Conduct qualitative and quantitate analyses of conversational data
• Define data labels and rules for annotating data
• Auto label and cluster unstructured text
• Execute data transformations from raw logs to structured training data
• Train and help maintain production ML systems
• Craft and fine tune instructions for large language models
• Work collaboratively with product, business and machine learning stakeholders to understand their needs
• Develop compelling dashboards and automated reporting
• Communicate results and present insights

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong experience in analyzing text data with Python and SQL
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLMs
• 2-4 years of experience working with data and/or a master’s degree in a data science related field
• Background in Natural Language Processing or Computational Linguistics
• Experience with data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Looker, DataStudio, R, Matplotlib)
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Google Cloud platform (BigQuery, DataStudio)
• Experience at an early-stage startup
