
Job Description
The team is looking for a commercially inclined, highly motivated, detail-oriented analyst with a passion for data and analytics, an eye for detail, and the ability to assess the big picture. Data querying and dashboarding techniques, along with the ability to work in a team and individually, are vital to success in this role. The person must be capable of extracting insights from large volumes of data and communicating relevant triggers and recommendations. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the US and around the world, as well as familiarizing oneself with United's and the Sales department's primary objectives, are essential. This role will require diligence, thoroughness, and a desire to improve and grow with the team.
- Execute solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, and statistical modeling techniques
- Reporting support to the frontline selling team to help them get answers to business problems, assist decision-making, and develop strong B2B Sales relationship
- Own a range of sales systems-related tasks that enhance the accuracy of CRM records (e.g. sales manager portfolio assignments, D&B industry mapping, and customer memberships)
- Improve processes for efficiency and quality through standardization and automation
- Ensure on-time delivery of reports, successful completion of processes and projects
- Partner with other departments to evaluate the wholistic interaction of customers with United and recommend areas of B2B contract improvements e.g. Revenue management, Loyalty, Customer analytics, NPS, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation as required for the process, ensure compliance with respective business processes through robust controls, and communicate to all relevant parties as per the underlying business processes

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics or another business-related field
- 3+ years of related experience in reporting, analytics, and automation
- Must be proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel (incl. VBA) and PowerPoint
- Must be competent in querying and manipulating relational databases via Teradata SQL assistant, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle SQL Developer
- Must be competent in reporting tool - Power BI
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and analytical with a desire for continuous improvements
Preferred
- Master's Degree in a quantitative field like Math, Statistics, Operations Research , Computers, MBA
- Expertise in database management and querying languages. Able to understand the data and design and implement normalized data models/ structures
