What you'll do:

We are in search of a highly skilled and enthusiastic Data Architect to expand our dynamic team. Your role will involve using the latest technologies and leading industry practices to design, develop, and manage our data architecture. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of Big Data technologies, coupled with robust analytical skills and a strong self-learning capability.

Your success in this role will be defined by your ability to design and build comprehensive data pipelines, leveraging your knowledge in the data architecture field. Alongside your technical expertise, your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams will be crucial in this role. Your knack for translating complex data concepts into understandable terms will be key in driving our vision across the organization.

What you'll need:

• Provide self-service data capabilities to enhance teams' independence;
• Help teams improve their skills and processes for managing and using data;
• Oversee implementation and integration of complex data subsystems;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging data technologies and trends;
• Streamline data-related interactions between teams;
• Implement and enforce data governance standards and policies defined by DG team;
• Provide architecture review of new solutions proposed by the teams;
• Train and mentor team members on data management best practices;
• Monitor data system performance and implement necessary optimizations;
• Foster an adaptable and continuously improving data architecture;

More about you:

• 5+ years' experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering or Solutions Architecture
• 5+ years' experience with cloud computing, preferably Azure
• Strong understanding of modern data storage and evolution (Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lakehouse etc.)
• 5+ years' experience in Data pipeline development using PySpark, Scala etc.
• 5+ years' experience working with Big Data frameworks, preferably Databricks, etc.
• 5+ years' experience working with transactional/relational data and SQL
• Strong experience in performance tuning and optimizations in PySpark and SQL
• Strong experience working on Agile teams implementing DevOps practices
• Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills, adapting to various audience types
• Passionate about innovation and loves solving complex problems in a highly- collaborative, fast-paced team environment
