We are in charge of services that touch every aspect of the consumption experience, including watch, sports, voting, trivia, social and short-form contents. We are dedicated to bringing top-notch entertainment experiences to billions of Disney+Hotstar users around the world. Our services will face challenges from our massive user base and cross-region deployments. Meanwhile you will touch versatile technologies including backend and frontend deployment, big data, machine learning and so on. You will participate in:

• Building and maintaining Sports features, supporting real-time score, commentary feed, auto-highlights, etc.
• Building interactive features including voting, polling and trivia system
• Building live chat and other social features

 Expectation of you:

• S./M.S. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering are preferred
• Proficiency in at least one of Go/Python/Java/C/C++
• Solid computer science foundation, proficiency in basic data structures and algorithms
• Proficiency in English

We are responsible for back-end services related to user core experience, including live broadcast, on-demand, sports, voting, Q&A, social networking, short video and other functions. Our services will directly reach hundreds of millions of Disney+Hotstar users around the world, bringing them high-quality viewing and entertainment experiences. At the same time, we will face high concurrency and cross-regional challenges. You will participate in:

• Develop and maintain a sports engine that supports real-time scores, comment streams, highlight clips, etc.
• Develop and maintain interactive features, including voting and question and answer systems
• Develop and maintain other interactive and social features

We want you to:

• Bachelor degree or above is preferred
• Familiar with at least one of Go/Python/Java/C/C++
• Solid computer science foundation, good data structure and algorithm foundation
• Able to use English for written and spoken work communication
