Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist Manager to join our team and work on generative AI projects using ChatGPT and other similar technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in natural language processing, machine learning, and Python programming, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills and a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Should have experience in managing leads while being hands on in delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop models, and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Develop, train and deploy generative AI models using ChatGPT and other similar technologies
• Conduct research and development activities to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of what is possible with AI
• Analyse large datasets and extract insights to inform model development and project direction
• Able to provide leadership and guidance to Data Scientists
• Collaborate with other data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate generative AI models into production environments
• Communicate project progress and results to stakeholders

Must Have :

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a data science or machine learning role
• Strong knowledge of natural language processing techniques, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and language modelling
• Hand-on experience with machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and other related techniques
• Expertise in Python programming and popular data science libraries, such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Creativity and innovation - passion for exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI
• People management.

Nice to haves :

• Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning or Google Cloud AI Platform
• Experience with data engineering and big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop Experience working with generative AI technologies such as GPT-2, T5, and BERT
• Contributions to open-source AI and machine learning projects

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics
