The Mission

We are looking for a dynamic product marketer who loves to build companies from the ground up. You’ll help build a category-defining company and accelerate our market adoption through compelling storytelling, positioning, and sales enablement. This role reports into the Head of Marketing and collaborates with the rest of Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships.

We are looking for someone who is creative but analytical (you’re right and left-brained), has a commercial mindset to GSD and prioritize effectively for high impact in a fast-paced startup environment, and team-oriented.

Core Responsibilities

  • Messaging and Positioning: Become an expert on Typeface, develop compelling platform and product positioning to diverse audiences, products, and industries, and effectively message high-level value propositions to feature-level product differentiation.
  • Thought Leadership & Content: Develop content for diverse audiences across internal and external, such as customer-facing presentations, collateral, blogs, videos.
  • Sales and Partner Enablement: Develop industry narratives and training to empower a rapidly growing sales team to close more deals, faster, and at a higher lifetime value.
  • Go-to-Market: Collaborate with product, sales, and partners for cohesive cross-functional plans that enable winning execution for customer acquisition and expansion. Develop insights on target personas, customers, industries, and use cases to inform GTM strategy. Create ROI tools to accelerate business justification.
  • Customer Insights: Develop insights on business/technical users to refine messaging, positioning, pricing/packaging, and GTM strategies.
  • Market & Competitive Differentiation: Define and communicate market differentiation to various audiences, working with sales, product, and engineering.
  • Integrated Marketing: Collaborate with rest of marketing on programs/campaigns, including webinars, events, and thought leadership content.
  • Product Launches: Launch new product releases to increase market awareness and user adoption. Track record of leading product launches with a multitude of cross-functional teams (engineering, product, marketing, sales, partnerships).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise B2B product marketing
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to turn insights into a clear and convincing product narrative that inspires.
  • Expertise in defining new products and strategies while navigating ambiguity.
  • A great teammate and self-starter that is comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment, taking initiative with limited resources, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple assignments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience at a start-up.
