Job Description

We are currently seeking strong technical Intermediate / Senior Integrity Engineers to join our Asset Integrity Teams in Calgary and Edmonton.

The primary role of these positions will be to support Project Engineers, Team Leads, and Managers working on Asset Integrity-related projects such as: pipeline fitness-for-service (FFS) calculations, surface loading / crossing assessments, in-line-inspection (ILI) assessments, probabilistic assessments / development, and various other tasks. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Stamping engineer with the ability to complete and validate integrity assessments (e.g., crossings, FFS, EAs, etc.) and support tool development/validation.
  • Conduct and provide oversite to report preparation, analyses, data integration and management, program automation, probabilistic assessment development, etc.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Acquainted with appropriate industry-accepted methods, codes, standards, best practices, regulations, etc. to ensure compliance.
  • Follow and comply with both Stantec and client Quality and internal processes.
  • Collaborate, establish, and maintain positive relationships with peers and clients.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Registered P.Eng. with APEGA
  • Comprehensive knowledge of appropriate standards, practices, and legislation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and process improvement skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Experience with VBA, Python, R, and AI Machine Learning is an asset

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering disciplines (i.e., Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials)
  • 7-15yrs of North American asset integrity related experience, with a focus in pipelines.

Typical office environment working with computers and a hybrid model of working in the office and remotely.
