Job Description

TASKS:

• Maintenance, quality assurance and provision of data (production data, product data, measurement data)
• Strategic alignments with data warehouse experts on available content and possible extensions
• Inputs to R&D data availability roadmap
• Definition of data validation (monitoring) and transformation rules
• Ensuring accelerated data processing and high data quality
• Ensuring availability of traceability information across different production locations
• Develop new analysis tools and optimize already present tools to further increase effectiveness and efficiency
• Extract essential information from a large dataset to put insights into a larger (tactical/strategical) context

Your profile

• University Degree (e.g. Automation and Computer Science Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics or comparable education)
• Statistics know-how is needed
• Ability to generate comprehensive analysis of the operational numbers with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Tableau or Power BI), familiar with data visualization
• Passion about new technologies
• Very good communication skills and fluent in English

Would be an advantage:

• Programming experience in one or more common programming languages (Python, Scala, R, Java, C#, ...)
• Background with Machine Learning / Optimization algorithms
• Background with Extract-Transform-Load processes, ideally based on Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Big Data solutions & Data Warehousing
