This is an exceptional and uncommon chance to join the ranks of InstaDeep, shaping and executing InstaDeep’s strategy for partnerships and business while accelerating InstaDeep’s position as the leading AI technology expert in the region.

Your job is to identify areas where InstaDeep can build revenue-generating external partnerships, relating to key ecosystem partners (e.g. cloud providers) as well as our target customers. You will lead strategic initiatives to increase our footprint with partners and customers across different verticals and accounts, opening up new markets, and tackling new accounts, while nurturing existing accounts/partnerships.

You will be responsible for identifying prospects, presenting pitches, and leading the process of closing deals. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the BD Lead DACH to jointly manage target accounts throughout the project lifecycle, with the objective of both effectively overseeing the account's needs and opportunities and maximizing upselling opportunities. You will actively participate in developing the BD strategy of the company for its products and solutions, contributing to InstaDeep’s growing role as the leading AI technology solutions expert in the region. Your main geographical area of activity will be in DACH (Germany, Austria, Swiss) and to some extent, the Nordics. You will aim to consistently exceed goals and meet client expectations.

In this role at InstaDeep, you will report to the Business Development Lead DACH and you will work closely with other members of the Business Development team, the Engineering team and Senior Executives.

Role and Responsibilities

Strategy:

  • Analyze and understand InstaDeep’s capabilities in AI research, products and solutions
  • Implement new BD initiatives and execution plans.
  • Devise strategies for driving growth across the business / Identify BD opportunities as a result of market changes and through direct prospection leveraging your own and the firm’s networks and relationships.
  • Proactively drive market analysis activities to analyze and spot fitting opportunities
  • Partnership:
  • Analyse, leverage and nurture InstaDeep’s network of partners (e.g. cloud providers, consultants, etc).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with InstaDeep’s partners to expand our reach and develop more growh opportunities.
  • Business Development:
  • Work daily and very closely with the business development team to understand the firm’s priorities and capabilities in addition to the rationale and targets of the business development strategy.
  • Align with the research and engineering team to craft designs, proposals and solutions for partners/customers
  • Process management:
  • Manage Opportunities through qualification, needs analysis, product and capability demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
  • Document daily activities, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage the pipeline and perform tasks necessary to drive revenue and communicate activities to management.
  • Negotiate contracts with customers and partners and ensure their adherence to the company’s KPIs.
  • Define programs to maximize net revenue across both new sales and add-on and upsell.
  • Marketing and Client Success:
  • Leverage existing relationships in order to create new direct sales opportunities for InstaDeep.
  • Review and help improve the marketing materials and tools to support the sales process.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery and continuously spot and plan for new opportunities with current customers.
  • Representation & networking:
  • Represent InstaDeep in various industry events, conferences and associations to ensure InstaDeep maintains its leadership position.
  • Articulate the value of InstaDeep products and services in a precise and compelling manner to partners in various industries and to various external audiences.

Requirements

  • You are enthusiastic about AI/ML and possible applications in the broader industrial and enterprise context
  • Master's degree from a top-tier university in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or Engineering, Computer Science
  • 3-5+ years of successful B2B experience in fast-paced environments, such as high-growth scale-ups, top technology or consulting firms.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving tangible revenues and revenue growth for both: products and solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. Proven commercial and financial acumen.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of ethics, collaboration and teamwork
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to interface with internal and external senior executives for pitching and scoping, while working closely with internal stakeholders for technical, financial and legal support
  • Technical and analytical skills: you are not expected to be very technical but you are expected to have/gain a minimum understanding of the firm’s products and solutions.
  • Ambitious, independent, organized and target-focused with a drive to succeed.
  • Broad cross-industry knowledge and strong connections at industry and enterprise level.
  • Fluency in both German and English is a must for this role
