Job Description

As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our ever-evolving technological infrastructure. Join our team and contribute to the infrastructure installation, maintenance, and optimization supporting our innovative AI solutions.

Fluent English proficiency is essential for effective collaboration with our international team.

The IT Technician must accomplish the following:

• Install and maintain servers, network switches, and storage systems to support our AI solutions, ensuring seamless operation.
• Conduct cabling installations to establish robust connectivity across our network infrastructure, guaranteeing reliable data transmission.
• Utilise expertise in controllers like Ebiquity or similar systems to enhance operational efficiency and optimise performance.
• Perform optic fibre splicing and maintenance to facilitate high-speed data transmission essential for AI applications, prioritising uninterrupted workflow is a plus.
• Procure equipment, software, and peripherals from vendors to bolster IT operations, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime and optimise productivity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative technologies and enhance existing systems, fostering continuous improvement.
• Uphold compliance with cyber security protocols and data protection regulations, safeguarding sensitive information, and mitigating risks.
• Install JumpCloud (or similar solutions) on PCs to streamline user management and enhance security measures.
• Experience working with Google Workspace.
• Experience with Asset Management/Device Management Software (i.e. FreshService)
• Experience using EDR or AV tools like Crowdstrike Fa
• Prioritise ongoing learning and stay updated on industry trends and best practices to support organisational objectives effectively.
• Fluent in English to effectively communicate and collaborate with international teams.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support and technical installation roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Experience with server administration, virtualization, and cloud computing platforms.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their integration into IT infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills especially in English
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are advantageous.
• Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
