Job Description

What Will You Do?

  • Data Analysis: R or Python for data analysis, predictive modeling, data aggregation/summarization
  • Automated reporting: Use VBA or R to create reports then store in Access, SQL Server
  • Root Cause Investigation: Both manual investigation and data analysis to determine root cause of inventory inaccuracies within the facility
  • Process improvement: Time studies, standard operating procedure documentation, process mapping
  • Manual and systematic data collection
  • Process optimization
  • Interact with managers, staff, and floor workers

Qualifications

Required Skills

 EDUCATION:

  • Junior or Senior in college, or recent graduate of, an accredited bachelor’s program in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or other relevant major.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-2 years

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  • Creative approach to problem solving based on solid theoretical skill.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Some experience with Access, and SQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have an acceptable level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports.
  • Conduct engineering studies/investigations.
