Job Description

About the role - you will:

• Software development and electrical controls design for automated slider and head stack assembly equipment
• Machine vision development for part measurement and defect inspection

• Continuous improvement on existing equipment, as well as develop new automation machine

• Collaborate with maintenance and process engineers for production line efficiency improvement

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Validate software and analyze data for official software release

• Comply with EHS to maintain safe work environment

Your experience includes:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent disciplines

• Strong in C++, C#, OOP and multi-threading PC based software programming

• Good hands-on experience in commercial motion control systems

• Experience in automation control devices including sensor, scanner, pneumatic cylinder, and electrical actuator

• Knowledge of Safety Equipment Design Standard: SOP39, SEMI

• Experience in Cognex Vision Pro, Halcon, OpenCV, and vision hardware system design

• Knowledge of machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) is advantageous
