Job Description

Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The Information Technology team is looking to hire a summer intern out of our Milford, Massachusetts office working on a hybrid schedule. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2024.

Responsibilities

• Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets, which could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
• Preparing final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends.

Qualifications specific to this role:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau) is a must.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Azure AI Studio is a nice-to-have.
