We are seeking a self-motivated intern to create an AI/Computer vision-based solution. You will work with a cross-functional team that includes Lenovo OEM Lab Engineers, Intel AI Support Engineers, to create an Asset tracking system.

The successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically. This person will be responsible for collaborating with Intel to implement Geti for training asset tracking models (cameras and sensors), fine tuning models from GitHub to work within Lenovo IT rules and infrastructure, determine the best fit hardware for this AI project and clearly document the complete solution. They will need to have the ability to work independently as a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in an ever-evolving environment, and adapt messaging across different audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills, including communicating clearly and convincingly. While they will need to work independently, they will have support within the Commercial organization to help guide and provide feedback.

You are an ideal candidate for this role if:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
• Experience with Python, C/C++ and Bash.
• Familiarity with Intel and Nvidia CV tools (OpenVINO, Scenescape, Geti, CUDA, Deepstream, Deep Learning AI)
• You are comfortable asking questions and doing the due diligence to understand the landscape
• You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
• You have exceptional analytical skills and are a problem solver
• You have strong written and verbal communications skills
• You possess good time management and organizational skills
• You are creative and adaptable, with an eye for detail
• Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC
