Job Description

  • Design and implement Azure governance solutions using policy as code
  • Translate business and security requirements into Azure policies, initiatives, and blueprints that can be applied across different environments
  • Collaborate with Developers and InfoSec teams to ensure compliance, consistency, and agility in the application development lifecycle
  • Create and maintain policy definitions, assignments, and exclusions
  • Monitor and report on policy compliance status and remediation actions

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Azure cloud architecture, governance, and policy management
  • Proficiency in policy as code tools and languages, such as Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Experience in designing and implementing Azure governance frameworks and solutions for complex and large-scale organizations
  • Experience in integrating automated governance processes and policies as part of an application development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, FedRamp, and GDPR
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and/or Compliance Administrator Associate
  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
  • B.S., Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in using Azure cognitive services, machine learning, or other AI/ML technologies a plus
  • Preferred experience with Machine Language and Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, others)
  • Preferred experience with other cloud providers, AWS or GCP
  • Preferred Secret clearance
