Job Description

As part of the Data Analytics Team, you will help with development of Transunion’s IP Geolocation technology. This position requires a basic understanding IP network topology. You will be working with other Analytics team members as well as Engineers and Data Scientists to help improve automation algorithms and leveraging big data to arrive at the most up to date, accurate information to our customers. You will be working with large datasets to try to get insights with how our data is performing or where to make large improvements for our customers. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality of Transunion products, and the level of service we are able to provide to our customers.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or data analysis, preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics services, required.
• Utilize tools to query, extract and transform large datasets using SQL, R, Python, Mongo DB, BigQuery
• Provide analytic insights to large data set that can help impact the quality of our data
• You have strong problem-solving skills and like to work through complex problems
• Driven, self-starter who likes to work individually as well as collaborate within a team

• Understanding IT networking or IP network topology
• Geospatial analytics
• We will provide training using internal proprietary tools

• This role reports directly to Senior Manager of Data Analytics
• First 90 days you’ll become familiar with internal propriety tools, processes and how we produce our data
• You’ll be part of the team that ensures the data quality of our geolocation database
