In your role, you will:
Consumer Identity is looking for a Product Manager to join the customer facing Authentication team. Capital One has taken the bold initiative to position itself as a trusted leader and authoritative service provider of consumer authentication and secure identity management. You will manage a sprint team to ship, scale, and improve products that delight our customers and position our company for substantial growth. You’ll define product direction and prioritization of features, actively manage a backlog, make trade off decisions, and clear impediments for your team in the customer facing identity space.
In this position you will be responsible to innovate and ensure Capital One is providing industry leading technology and experiences in the Consumer Identity sector. In addition, you will be part of the team that is transforming how our systems work as Consumer Identity transitions to a platform based organization.
Own the success and life cycle of features for your product and/or platform, setting its strategy and driving prioritization decisions toward improvements. You will test and learn your way to something new while taking into account business strategy, market analysis, user feedback, analytics and technology best practices.
Collaborate with internal partners. You will rally your team to deliver your vision while participating in relevant governance and risk forums and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will also help us nurture relationships with key external stakeholders in the Consumer Identity industry including academics, entrepreneurs, and leading identity companies. You will be a key team member in enabling relationships with external pilot partners.
Learn from your network of developers, designers, analysts, data scientists, customers and other subject-matter experts and leverage them to build cutting-edge products.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City:
$114,700 - $130,900 for Graduate Product Development Program
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
