The Safety & Security Analytics Team in the Office of Intelligence and Analysis is seeking qualified candidates for a year long internship. The intern will work closely with analysts to generate statistical and graphical analyses of data that provide meaningful insight to safety data trends and generate predictions that are actionable. The intern will also engage with process and data experts throughout the organization to learn how to create a unified approach to problem solving related to identifying risks to customers and employees, mitigation strategies, and/or to improve processes to eliminate injuries, hazards, and risks in the workplace. The intern will focus on learning to design data modeling processes, create algorithms and predictive models to extract, analyze, summarize, and visualize data.

The hourly range is $17.50 per hour - $35.00 per hour. Pay is based on factors including school year, program of study, etc. In addition paid internships include Amtrak rail pass privileges as a part of the experience along with one (1) PTO day per academic year.
