Responsibilities:
Counsel across a broad range of employment laws and workplace issues at a rapidly growing rocket ship expanding internationally.
Be a strategic partner to the People team in building and refining systems to attract, retain, and motivate high performers to achieve their best work.
Stay up to date on relevant employment laws, regulations, industry trends, and disseminate to key stakeholders these developments and their implications to Anthropic’s mission and business.
Develop internal processes, policies, and tools to support employee law matters efficiently and at scale.
As a relatively small legal team supporting big things, each attorney practices across multiple areas. We’d love to hear where else you’d be interested to pitch in, whether as a function of your experience or interests.

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 75% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits*
Anthropic’s compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.
Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.
