This position is hybrid and reports to the Head of Global Initiatives & Intelligent Automation.

The Analytics Architect will be responsible for understanding and translating business strategies and priorities into design and architecture which will include building a modern data analytics platform, creating data models for reporting, mapping data in the source systems, working on development of extraction and load of data in the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and accessibility, and assisting in development of reports and dashboards that will provide data insights and help drive key decisions for the business users and senior leadership. This role will work closely with IT teams to develop a world class data and analytics practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, high-performance, and future-proof data and analytics platform and solutions.
  • Translate business goal, needs, and metrics into data management, analytics functions, and requirements.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications using structure techniques and data warehousing methodology.
  • Develop the enterprise’s capacity to develop insights from analytics.
  • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models scalable across the Enterprise.
  • Develop, maintain, and support data warehouse and data mart structure.
  • Define and enforce data modeling and architecture standards, procedures and policies to ensure consistency across project implementations.
  • Establish best practices for ingesting and staging enterprise data, data management, consumption patterns, and data security.
  • Recommend Master Data Management practices for the company. Measure master data and reference data for compliance to policy, standards, and models.
  • Work with Database Administrators to migrate complex large- scale applications into test and production environments 
  • Integrate new data with existing warehouse structure and continuously improve system functionality
  • Develop and maintain all standards in accordance with data structures and models 

KEY SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 2+ years of direct management experience for employees and their performance
  • 4 Year degree in Information Systems/Data Science/Computer Science preferred
  • 10+ years of experience of delivering Data and Analytics solutions
  • Strong business acumen with 10+ years of experience delivering data and analytics solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL server, database schemas and ETL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of data warehousing and data modeling, data integration/ETL, design, development, data governance, data integrity, data quality, MDM, data security and classification, and best practice for building reporting and analytics.
  • Experienced in database and data warehouse optimization and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Data science implementation using Python and deep learning tools
  • Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in an independent setting
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate with managers and associates at all levels
  • Global perspective and solid understanding of business objectives
  • Excellent attention to detail and work with the highest level of accuracy
  • Initiative to develop tools, data collection processes, and data management systems
  • Certified or willing to become trained in Google data catalog, Big Query, Astronomer, Airflow.
  • Data engineering knowledge and understanding of various technologies
  • Visualization Experience with Tableau and Google Studio
  • Skills in implementation of large analytical development experience with MDM, data governance solutions.
