Responsibilities :

  • Handles the responsibility for meeting business reporting and analytical needs and managing the day-to-day operations of the Product Analytics professionals.
  • Strengthens and guides team members in the use of rigorous quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop solutions to business problems and issues and uses a consultative and collaborative approach when working with internal and/or external business partners to analyze and respond to business needs, concerns and questions.
  • Collaborates with business partners to gather information for knowledge generation. Uses data to analyze key business issues and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Understands and represents business components to ensure a clear understanding of the business and drives the right analysis, including asking the right questions for a data driven business.
  • Includes the use of data and visualization to effectively communicate various technical, analytical and business concepts and uses analytical experience and skills combined with knowledge of the company's insurance products and operations to manage and assist with analysis, reporting and projects.
  • Develops relationships and fosters collaboration with key business partners and stakeholders across the segment.
  • Uses extensive knowledge and experience of appropriate tools, technologies and techniques to perform complex analyses, and to direct and train others in performing analyses.
  • Maintains awareness and knowledge of internal and external business activities, trends, best practices and tools. Share knowledge and information with the team and other members.
  • Owns accountability for talent management and navigation of employee related issues that impact morale and work environment to ensure a high performing team including hiring and selection, succession planning, performance and compensation management, and employee development and career coaching as required. Manages priorities and workload distribution and removes barriers that impede progress.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Prior direct or indirect people leadership experience including experience coaching and motivating others.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance Products, Pricing, and Financial metrics is preferred
  • Physical essential functions: ability to work 40 hours in an office environment (sitting, standing, on a computer, etc.), operate office related technology (computer, phone, etc.), travel as required.
